1. How do I order a Knox Box?: Complete the form and return to Sanger Fire Department at:

How do I get a copy of a fire / incident report?: The required “Incident Report Request Form” must be completed and submitted to The Sanger Fire Department by either faxing to 559-875-6611 or emailing the Fire Department. Please allow approximately 7 to10 calendar days for processing. Should a report be available, the fee is $15. Checks can be made payable to the City of Sanger. For further questions, please contact Sanger Fire at 559-875-6568.

3. Who do I call about fire sprinkler system requirements and inspections?: Sprinklers are required in many commercial buildings. Please call the Fire Departments Community Risk Reduction at 559-876-6389 to establish needs for your particular application.

4. I need to schedule a fire inspection, who do I contact?: Please call the Sanger Fire Department at 559-876-6389 or complete the form.

5. I need to dispose of my Hazardous materials, how do I do this?: You can visit the Fresno County Household Hazardous Waste website or call 559-600-4259.

6. How do I obtain a fire permit?: There is no burning within the City of Sanger. However, if you live in the County (outside of Sanger) then contact San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for more information on allowable burn days. https://www.valleyair.org/Home.htm

7. I saw a fire hydrant leaking or has a cap missing, who do I contact?: Please call our Public Works Department at 559-876-6300.

9. Can I burn debris, trash and tree or brush trimmings?: The City of Sanger does not allow burning of any kind in the City limits. If you are outside of Sanger City limits, please refer to Air Pollution Control by calling 559-230-6000 or by visiting the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District website.

10. What is Sanger Fire Department’s ISO Rating?: Currently, Sanger Fire Department maintains a fire protection class rating of “Class 3” through the Insurance Service Office.
