Crime Prevention

The Sanger Police employs several community programs to provide crime prevention and public safety information to the citizens of Sanger. Some of those programs include Community Watch, Car Seat Checks, Prescription Drop Off, and more.

Community Events

Throughout the year, police personnel participate in several community-related events to promote the goal of community policing and the development of a police-citizen partnership. Some of the events are:

  • Crime Prevention Booths at community events
  • National Night Out
  • Participating in Walk to School and Bike to School days
  • Red Ribbon Week Presentations
  • Sanger Police and Fire Department's Open House
