You can come in to the Police Department lobby located at 1700 7th St. between the hours of 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday to get your citation signed off. If you are not available during those times, you can contact our dispatch at (559) 875-8521 to request an Officer to sign it off.
You will need to come in to the Police Department Lobby between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, we are closed for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00, Monday - Friday. We will only release to the Registered Owner of the vehicle. You will need to bring valid photo identification, 2 currently licensed drivers, proof of valid registration, proof of valid insurance and $100.00. Please also have the case number and/or vehicle license plate or VIN number available.
You can file a police report by coming in to the lobby of the Police Department or contacting our Dispatch at (559) 875-8521. If it is an emergency please call 9-1-1.
Yes you can remain anonymous. If you are speaking with a dispatcher or Officer please inform them that you wish to remain anonymous, or you can call our anonymous tip line at (559) 876-6300 ext. 5400.

To obtain a copy of a police report you will need to fill out a request for information form and turn it in to our Records Department. It can take up to 10 days to process the request after the form has been turned in. The cost of a police report is $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. You must be at least 16 years old to do a ride along. Print out the Ride Along Form, fill it out, make sure it is signed and bring it in to the Police Department. Once your form has been processed, you will be contacted by the Watch Commander.
